“Are you busy
- If you are like many of us, time is rushing by at a ridiculous speed.
- Do you find that your needs are at the end of your to-do list each day?
I experienced this with my previous careers and demanding workload, and when I was caring for a young and growing family and aiming to juggle it all and all the other various demands that were in my life.
No wonder like many other people, I was feeling really exhausted!
I now aim for balance as much as possible each day. A goal all by itself!
Some days I experience life as full-on and some days the load seems easier. I think that is a reality for many people?
One of the reasons I started my website and blog, as well as writing for other international wellness websites, and other social media (*) was to inspire and empower readers to be their best each day and to get balance and look after their own needs too.
I wanted to share practical ways that can easily be fitted in one's busy life.

We all want more time.
We want to do things that give us enjoyment and happiness.
Through advancements in technology we now have various items that make life easier for us in may ways. But this also created more time pressure as things seem more pressured and more immediate.
Faxes that were used (and still are) for business say 5 years ago are now being replaced with scanners. Yet our time is not freer in my opinion. The demands of my time are now more instant.
Now I can pay for most things by tapping my credit card at a retail outlet, (and soon in many cases) use my phone to pay for things via an app!
But does this make my time more available for what I want to do?
In many ways yes it does. But the expectation of other people from the immediacy of the technological advancements to communication is also making my time stretched.
What can we do?
Here are some ideas to ease your load, that I found worked for me. There are lots more practical ideas to list, but here is a place for you and/or your loved ones to start, that you can put to use today.

The optimal tips start with
- Eating quality, nutritious food that you enjoy.
- Get good rest/sleep, with comfy pillow and
sleep in a darkened room.
- Turn your phone off at night. (You can turn it on again in the morning.) :)
- Meditate: To music, or try guided meditation.
- Aim for some exercise that you enjoy.
- Get together with your friends and your family.
- Look up and notice your environment. It's a beautiful world.
-Take breaks from working on your computer, your iphone, and/or long periods of time spent sitting.
-Drink water. Keep hydrated. Amazing what this alone will do for your health and vitality.
-Some people find writing in a book or "journalling" helps to download their day's activities and concerns if any exist and reflect on their emotions. Try it.
-Talk to someone for help if something is concerning you.
If you have something bothering you then speak to someone who can help you. This can be your doctor, or other trained medical professional. You might have a concern at your work-place or a concern with a friend or family member.
By getting some help and resolution you can feel empowered, feel better and it can make a valuable difference in your health and wellbeing.
-Call a friend. Keep your social contact up.
-There is a recommendation from many pharmacy manufacturers, to See your doctor if pain persists. This is great advice if anything in general is bothering you.
Please don't let something that bothers you physically or emotionally go unchecked for long. Get someone to help you.
-Give and get a hug or few.
-Take a couple of deep breaths when you just don't feel like you have a moment to spare. This in itself can help you feel like you can carry on with your tasks at hand.
